SemiSinful

Hello! My name is Maya, but I go by SemiSinful here and on many different platforms. I studied Game Design and Development at Wilfrid Laurier University and I studied Game Programming at Humber Polytechnic.

I focus on a variety of different themes when it comes to game design. I love exploring fantastical genres such as supernatural fantasy, high fantasy, modern fantasy, science fiction, horror as well as anything that tickles my fancy at the time. I focus on telling characters' stories in my work, which also means my stories tend to have a focus on representation and diversity because I want to make my characters three-dimensional and well-rounded individuals.

I often develop projects completely solo, but I sometimes work in groups on my projects! My school projects from Laurier that I have uploaded are all solo projects (other than some music that was made for me by a classmate), I've participated in game jams fully solo, but I also have a couple of games on my profile that I made in groups for game jams!
